There are several mods that cause some relative fixes on the player economy. Smithing exploit is banalé and wrecks the game experience altogether. I highly suggest against it. I'm at 1011th hour and if I could disable smithing altogether, just because of this exploit bullsh*t, I would.
If you're looking for profit, the most profitable is not 2h sword, but 2h polearm swordstaves. Require neither fine steel nor thamaskene, only mid-tier metals and wood, and sells for around 12~16k. The most 'expensive' weapon straight up, is a highest tier two handed sword which will sell for around 20k, and has a listed price of over 200k.
