Half-Life 2: VR Mod. Seat Mode Height adjustment. When I toggle to seat mode, my height is too low. I've tried to adjust but there's no option in the setting menu. Stand up from seat get me normal height. Try installing OVR settings from Steam, then you can set your height manually to whatever you like. When I toggle to seat mode, my height is

By the way, you should do that. Before launching Gmod, put your desktop resolution to the max (in DSR options, you can select all the options 1.5x, 2.0x, 2.5x etc, That'll unlock several new high resolutions in all sofware settings.) Try one that won't be too high for your spec. If you're running on a 1080 ti like me, you can go full 4k.

Hi I'm trying to see if a custom map/campaign can work with this mod. I checked the website and it says to place custom content in: /Half-Life 2 VR/hlvr/custom. I'm not sure if this is is just for custom textures or I actually but custom map data here. I downloaded Half Life Year Long Alarm and looking at the files it doesn't make sense to You are basically playing on a monitor, except it is the size of a movie theater. I don’t know how this works but it actually feels like some things actually stick out of the screen (I can’t explain it but it’s shocking). The Valve Index speakers adds immersion on top of it. After watching Half Life: Alyx, I decided all of half life 2.
However, just because Half-life:Alyx is no longer VR won't remove its intensive VR graphical requirements. So whether you are playing it in VR or not, make sure you meet the grapical requirments above to make the most of Half-life:Alyx. The long-awaited sequel to Half-Life: 2 has finally landed. It’s gorgeous. It’s fun. And it’s a VR exclusive. While it’s not exactly Half-Life 3, the package it comes in remains the same: a Half-Life sequel. Half-Life: Alyx is a first-person shooter where you play as Alyx Vance as she fights for survival against a hostile alien empire.
Look up Virtual Desktop, that will let you connect the Quest to your PC wirelessly and play any PC VR game through Steam VR on the Quest. If you don't have a good Wifi network though then you can use a USB C cable to physically connect to the PC and play it that way, Oculus sells a very overpriced cable for it but you don't need to buy that one
